Meet our physical therapists

Meet Physical Therapist: Annette Dupont, PT
Annette is a 1991 graduated of the University of Kentucky with a BHS in Physical Therapy. Employed by Progressive Rehab since 1997, Annette has been instrumental in the growth and success of the clinic.

Annette spent the 8 years prior to her employment with Progressive Rehab practicing physical therapy in a variety of settings, which include outpatient orthopedic rehab, neurological/stroke rehab, geriatrics and acute care.

Her diverse experience has proven invaluable to the growth of our many services and programs. Annette was particularly important in the development of the Progressive Senior Health and Wellness program and will be responsible for the administration of this vital and innovative program. Annette is also involved in the Progressive Spine and Back rehab program, and has served as a volunteer for a Multiple Sclerosis exercise group.

Annette enjoys a variety of activities that include kayaking, biking, hiking and other outdoor sports.

Meet Physical Therapist: Craig Bertsch, MS, PT
Craig graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1998 with a BHS in Physical Therapy and a Masters in Physical Therapy. Immediately after graduating, Craig gained employment with Progressive Rehab and quickly became a productive member of our clinical staff.

During his first year at Progressive Rehab Craig was exposed to a variety of treatment philosophies including the newly developed occupational rehab program. Craig quickly developed an affinity for the occupational rehab environment and was assigned to split his responsibilities between Progressive's on-site clinic and main facility. Craig was also involved in the development of the Progressive Spine and Back program, which in part to his effort has proven to be a great success.

Valuing the importance of "being involved", Craig is active in numerous community and church functions. He is a member of a church parish council, a grade school basketball team coach, a team leader for church retreats and a member of the Catholic Member of Forester. The Foresters is a charitable organization that provides donations to the local community. Craig's hobbies include baseball, basketball, football, golf, tennis and oil painting.

Meet Our Athletic Trainer: Julie Lester, ATC
Julie graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelors of Arts in Athletic training. Julie has served as the team trainer for NKU's Men's soccer and baseball teams and the women's basketball team. Julie also served for two years as an assistant coach for Northern's women's basketball team.

Her current responsibilities at Progressive Rehab include, Treatment Manager, Athletic Trainer and Treatment Aide. Julie has been with Progressive Rehabilitation since its inception in 1992 and has been an integral part of our continued success. Additionally, her reputation within the community has proven vital to our success in an increasingly competitive market.

As a certified Athletic Trainer with the NATA, Julie is qualified to act as ProRehb's treatment liaison with local schools. In this capacity, Julie provides game coverage, and evaluation and treatment of sports related injuries for many of the local high schools..

Julie has also coached numerous grade and high school sports teams and is actively involved in many sporting and outdoor activities, which included the completion of many 26-mile marathons.
