Meet Physical Therapist: Jo Terry, PT
Jo is the President and Owner of Progressive Rehabilitation. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1985 with a BHS in Physical Therapy. After Graduating Jo gained employment with a local orthopedic clinic where she was a staff therapist until her promotion to clinical director in 1987. Jo continued in that capacity until the summer of 1992.
In August of 1992, Jo established Progressive Rehabilitation. Since the inception of Progressive Rehab, Jo has been responsible for patient care, administration of the clinic and development of additional services and programs.
Jo has garnered a reputation for providing quality patient care and for developing innovative treatment programs that address special healthcare needs. Some of the programs include the Progressive Occupational and Industrial Rehab program, which established the first on-site occupational and industrial rehab program in the Northern Kentucky area, the Progressive Spine and Back Rehab program, and the Progressive Senior Health and Wellness program.
Jo is also involved with her local community, church and school. She has been a youth soccer coach for many years, has sponsored area soccer teams and is involved in many church functions and school activities. She is also member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, has served on the KPTA legislative committee and sat on an advisory panel for a major insurance carrier. Jo also believes in supporting the area community by insuring that a portion of Progressive's profits are shared with local charities, schools and social organizations.
In 1999, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce recognized Progressive Rehab, through it's "Emerging 30" award, as one of 30 most rapidly growing small businesses. Additionally, Jo is a nominee for the Chambers Small Business "SUCCESS" Award that will be awarded in the summer of 2000.
