Initial Consultation
The Progressive Spine & Back Rehab program begins with a medical history taken by a licensed physical therapist. Next an extensive exam is performed which allows the therapist to assess pain levels, mobility, flexibility, and neurological involvement.
We take the time to listen to details about your lifestyle and pain to determine the best course of therapy. A treatment plan is developed which may include additional therapy sessions along with a home exercise program. We strive for
cost-effective, proven treatment outcomes during spinal rehabilitation treatment sessions.
Back Pain Treatment Methods
Progressive Rehab offers a unique approach to back pain reduction. Often when traditional therapy and treatments fail, our approach which includes education and the right exercise program yields success. Thats why we spend so much time on the initial assessment and reassessment. We have found that the evaluation method and movement analysis used to develop a treatment program are the keys to successfully treating back pain.
Additional treatments may include spinal mobilization, traction, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, spinal stabilization, range of motion, and flexibility exercises.
Follow-up
If during your initial consultation, a problem is identified which requires a physicians intervention, we will provide you with a summary of our recommendations.
